Brand-new platform TurboPayroll handles payroll administration for flexible workers

The Challenge

Flexible work is on the rise, and with it the need for digital solutions to manage it correctly. For payroll administration of their flexible workforce, employers today usually rely on temp agencies. These specialize in finding and scheduling talent, but not all employers need this full-service, especially when they have their own workers available.

However, they do need a platform for creating contracts, managing timesheets, and handling payroll. A digital solution allows for quick planning and offers the flexibility to autonomously manage last-minute changes.

The Approach

TurboPayroll is an online platform that offers this service. Employers and employees autonomously manage employment through it. During workshops, the experts at TurboPayroll and the developers at Teal Partners outlined the ideal workflow and optimal processes.

The developers then translated these self-service flows for registering and managing employees into an intuitive site with two portals, one for the employer and one for the employee. The solution is both compliant and scalable.

The Result

An employer calculates the hourly cost of employment on the TurboPayroll site. There is no subscription fee. If the employer approves the price, they can immediately register their workers. No manual intervention from a consultant is necessary.

When an employer creates a contract, the Dimona declaration is automatically handled. Timesheets are available immediately. The system allows for the approval of work performances, tracking of absences, and real-time adjustments to contracts. Payments can be made directly from the portal.

An employee signs their contract digitally. In the portal, they complete their information and submit their availabilities. They review the schedule and performances through the platform.
