New software helps consultants find better matches between candidates and vacancies more quickly. Digitizing the administration allows more time for personal interviews with candidates. Management will gain better insight into which niches and vacancies are the most interesting for their business.
With over 86 offices, 4,000 vacancies, and 450 staffing consultants, Actief Interim is one of the top players in the Belgian staffing market. Founded in 1988, the staffing agency grew from a family business to an international player. The company is also active in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Portal for the consultant, client, prospect and candidate
Actief Interim and Teal Partners developed several customized tools such as a consultant, client, prospect, and candidate portal. The new technology allows for faster and better placement of more candidates, facilitating the company's growth. Digitalization also provides a better experience for all stakeholders.
The hiring process went completely digital
A temporary worker no longer needs to visit the office. From a job interview via video to signing a contract, the process can be carried out digitally. This new way of working paid off during the lockdown. "This digitalization came at exactly the right time," says CEO Bruno Thollebeke. "The renewal operation was immediately successful."
Emphasis on personal contact
Bear in mind, offices will not disappear. The aim of digitalization is precisely to strengthen the contact between a temporary worker and a consultant. The human aspect is crucial for Actief Interim. "We are in a candidate market," says Sören Seels, Digital Solutions Manager at Actief Interim. "To attract good people, it is necessary to focus on personal contact and a flawless digital experience."

Tools & Methods
Actief Interim consciously chooses a best-of-breed approach. For each digital application, the company chooses the best tool on the market. Teal Partners helps with the design of the IT landscape, the technical framework, and the middleware development that connects the SaaS products. This setup ensures that Actief Interim is flexible and agile.
Actief Interim chose Carerix as its Applicant Tracking System for tracking jobs and candidates and EasyPay as its mid- and back-office system for invoicing and payroll, among other things. The data of each candidate who registers via Carerix must arrive correctly in Easypay so that the administration is correct and the invoicing and payment run smoothly. Teal Partners designed the architecture, helped to migrate the existing systems and built the integration layer to connect the ATS and the back office systems. This creates an integrated experience for the end-user.
Native cloud web applications
Each user (candidate, consultant, client, or prospect) is given access to a custom portal developed by Teal Partners. These portals are native cloud web applications hosted in Actief Interim's Microsoft Azure Cloud environment. Users, roles and permissions are managed and operated in a central location via IdentityServer. A Single Sign-On setup ensures the necessary ease of use and guarantees for security and data privacy. Digital document signing is possible thanks to an integration with Connective.
To gain insight across the various platforms, Teal Partners integrated Azure Data Factory. The data is collected in a data warehouse, and Azure Synapse Analytics converts the data into business insights that are processed into reports via Power BI.
